Octopath Traveler 2 Release Date
Octopath Traveler 2 is set to come out on the Nintendo Switch on Feb. 24, 2022. At the time of writing, it’s only been announced for the Switch, and it’s unlikely that we’ll see it on any other platform at launch. However, the first Octopath Traveler did get a PC and an Xbox port about a year after the original release, so PC and Xbox players shouldn’t lose hope just yet. If and when the game gets announced for other platforms, we’ll keep you updated. Octopath Traveler 2 features a whole new cast of characters, while retaining the familiar main theme and lovely looking environments and character sprites. The trailer made sure to emphasize that the various characters will intersect with each other as we play through their stories, and this alone will mark a huge improvement over the first game.
