You can send images, videos, audio, locations, and documents. But for some reason, the company has long limited you to just a few specific file types, like PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and slides. If you tried to share anything else, the files would be grayed out. According to the company, the feature is being tested out and will soon be available to its user world over. This would solve a major problem for many users, as earlier they had to share files that are not compatible via cloud services such as iCloud or Google Drive or convert the files to a supported format.
